We are small enough to remain a friendly family company, but with a turnover of £20m a year, we’re large enough to provide proper career paths for people who want to get on in their lives.

We are informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We’re very proud that we do absolutely everything as best we can, from the quality of our buildings and gardens; to our food, wine and beers; and most importantly of all, the quality of the crews in our pubs.

We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy looking after others, who have a fine eye for detail, and who are able to build happy teams who take pride in getting things right.

If you’re the right personality, you might reasonably be running a pub within a few years, earning a salary of perhaps £35,000, with a crew of up to fifty people working for you, and a turnover of £1m+ a year.
